OneBox Celebrates Its 20th Anniversary

On September 22, 2026, OneBox held its 20th anniversary celebration at Shangri-La Nanchang under the theme “Committed to Value and Lasting Partnerships.” Founder and CEO Peng Jin delivered a keynote address on the same theme. Hotel clients, business partners and representatives from higher education institutions gathered to look back on OneBox’s twenty-year journey since its founding in 2006 and share a proud milestone for everyone at OneBox.

At the event, David Bodnick, Founder and CEO of US-based Expertly AI and a serial entrepreneur, delivered a presentation titled “AI that works the way your people work.” He shared the latest trends in AI adoption across the global hospitality and service industries and explored how AI can become part of hotels’ everyday workflows across systems and languages, giving guests a glimpse of the possibilities ahead.

Director Mao An and Professor Mu Lin from Qingdao Tourism College then joined OneBox Founder and CEO Peng Jin and Co-founder and CTO Yu Rongsheng on stage. In front of the audience, the two parties signed a strategic cooperation agreement, exchanged certificates and posed for photographs. They will work closely on joint academic program development, internships and practical training, and targeted talent development. This collaboration will connect education with industry and help prepare more professionals who understand both technology and business for the smart hotel sector. It also marks a significant step forward for OneBox in integrating industry with education and developing talent for the sector.

As the dinner began, the brightly lit banquet hall filled with the aroma of wine. Guests raised their glasses in celebration and exchanged warm wishes.
